Our support programs are focused on people and delivered right here in our local community. We offer:
We support people in our community experiencing hardship and barriers by providing information, services, advocacy and referrals to meet immediate needs and help access long-term support.
We provide emergency relief to address immediate basic needs for those experiencing severe hardship or who are living in crisis in our local community.
We provide support to culturally and linguistically diverse people facing barriers to enrolling in training or finding employment. Our support is culturally responsive and personalised, assisting people to set achievable goals, identify their strengths, build capabilities and connect with the right training, education and employment opportunities for them.
We provide support and services to people experiencing housing crisis or who are at risk of homelessness. Our individual case managers help people in need access long-term housing and programs and services which provide holistic support. We also offer group education sessions including information, advocacy, counselling, crisis resolution and life skills training.
Our services help those in need find a way to live a life free from violence. We support victim survivors to access specialist family violence services, as well as housing, financial assistance, educational support, legal services and other services that improve their safety, independence and stability.
Our team provide information, support and advocacy to people experiencing financial difficulty. We assist with creditors and provide information about bankruptcy, extending to areas such as problem gambling and family violence financial counselling. We also offer the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) which provides people on low incomes with flexible and affordable credit to pay for essential items.
We provide casework and community development support to assist refugees and vulnerable migrants for up to five years after they arrive in Australia. We also engage new and emerging communities in capacity-building activities that provide practical support, advocacy, service linkage and training.
We connect young people between the ages of 12 to 25 years with support for education, employment and housing. Our support includes a drop-in space, along with homework clubs, leadership programs and learning to drive education.
